KLIPKERK
The `Klipkerk` is a historical landmark in Stoffberg and Laersdrift. The church is 131 years old and was built by hand out of granite that was found in the area. If getting married in a majestic church is a childhood dream, the Klipkerk will be a dream come true. It is a mere 1km from our venue.
RECEPTION
Built in an eclectic African style, Mellow Stream greets you with stone, wood and a splash of modern touches. The outside boma makes for a sociable atmosphere where guests can enjoy some fresh air and conversation away from the dance floor and bar. It is the ideal place to treat guests to welcome drinks and entrees upon arrival and serves as the entry hall to the rest of the venue. The hall itself can easily accommodate 260 guests with enough space left for a dance floor.
Open large ceiling-to-floor doors at the end of the hall and create a natural picturesque background. It boasts a separate bar area which is fully licensed. A fireplace will chase away the cold on winter nights.
The adjacent kitchen ensures that food is warm and fresh when served.
A special kiddies’ corner, on the outside of the venue but still under-roof is the ideal area to accommodate children. It is large enough to provide them with their own seating area and a jumping castle.
